Green pants! Funny enough, we had some players report to us that it was a bug, so we had to explain in a roundabout way that Spider intentionally gave them those pants.

I finally had time to sit down and work on my 5-year shield. The golden coin is for my former team, and the other tokens are Destiny 2 releases I worked on.

Getting this was one of my first career goals at Bungie, because it’s the coolest company anniversary gift I’ve ever seen.

*whisper* that’s because it is lol

Really though, it’s very similar, except now I’m overseeing outsource agents, helping launch into new community areas, and expanding other areas where available.

I didn’t watch Glow prior to this show, but I do watch wrestling, so that drew me in.

I have a lot of the same and different goals now: team-building, sharing knowledge & history, and supporting/growing a community.

Halo has led me on a long & winding journey, filled with hopes and dreams and aspirations to join the game industry.

It’s been a great journey. 😊✌️

I joined the game industry in 2018, but Halo 2 isn’t the reason why; the community & the friendships I made are why.

I wanted to create & shepard communities, like the one I was in, so that others could experience the same communal feeling I did for many years.

I’ve done and will keep doing that.

By the game’s shutdown on April 15, 2010, I had played >6K matches.

The night before the servers went offline, I played with the same old friends, sharing memories and laughs. We played so many matches and custom games.

I still think about that night and the communal feeling it brought.

I joined my new friend from the GameStop line for multiplayer the next day. We made a custom w/friends on Lockout. He enjoyed using the sword, laughing after each kill. Sadly, he stopped playing a few months later.

I met so many friends through Bungie.net - we played together for years.

My friend and I exchanged our Gamertags with someone we chatted with. When we got home at 1:30AM, we went to bed cause we had to get up for school later.

After school, I got home, put the disc in, and played the entire campaign. It was amazing.

A guy pulled up while we were in line, popped his truck, and setup a 4-player game station for the line to play Halo CE.

After getting my limited edition, I found a microphone and camera in my face. I wasn’t loud & jumping for joy, so they moved on.

What are they to say now? 😏

Halo 2 changed my life and has led me to where I am today.

The evening of November 8, 2004, a friend, my brother, my mom, and I drove 45 minutes from our town to stand in line outside GameStop for two hours (midnight release!). It was the only way to get the limited edition.

If anyone's wondering how things are going on the hellsite: This setting was just turned on by default for everyone. if you still have an account with content, go log in and disable this so Grok can't use your tweets as training data.

The findings of two decades of profitability studies are equivocal: The majority of firms that conduct layoffs do not see improved profitability, whether measured by return on assets, return on equity, or return on sales. Layoffs are especially hard on the performance of companies with a high reliance on R&D, low capital intensity, and high growth. Market response to layoffs was also less positive than might be expected, with three-day share prices of firms conducting layoffs generally neutral. Higher valuations were given for layoffs perceived as helping firms in financial distress return to profitability as well as those that were strategic and forward-looking. Layoffs undertaken only for the purpose of reducing costs tended to lead to drops in share price.

Layoffs as they are done now, are scientifically proven to be unprofitable and IMO a symptom of the brain rot cause by, and fetishization, of 'tough decision making'

and when I say scientifically proven, check out this segment from the really eye-opening write-up from HBR: hbr.org/2022/12/what...

Nothing describes my feelings for today.

Survivors guilt is real and my heart has been aching all day for everyone affected by today’s layoffs. Please know that you’re worth so much more than a job.

Appreciate my team and others for coming in today so we could support each other.
