This term of #HamOnt Council, paid advocates & special interest groups have had an inordinate level of influence over @cityofhamilton policy and taxpayer funding.

Even when tax dollars are funding organizations working against City by-laws - Council refuses to act.

Despite #defundthepolice agitators again attempting to disrupt democratic debate, one real bright spot from todays Budget meeting was a resounding 14-2 defeat of the annual defund the police motion.

Hopefully, this finally puts an end to this defund the police nonsense.
