Today the Arizona Senate Democratic Caucus sent a letter to Secretary Rollins urging her to use the contingency reserve to fund SNAP benefits for Arizonans and Americans alike.

Despite the USDA having the money to keep the SNAP program running, Trump has decided to stop the program’s funding.

SNAP is one of our nation’s most effective tools to fight hunger and this weekend 42 million Americans, including 900,000 Arizonans, will go without their benefits.
