Oh! Today has been such a nice day. Some birds have taken a liking to my work space. I was feeding one and now it's bringing the flock in through a small space under the door. I've been surrounded by bird chirps all morning, very cute. Haven't gotten a good picture myself, but here's something close

Oh, I got it. Real, good sleep. I am a very thankful Blade. This is much better than the cycnical, exhausted bit I had prepared. Thank goodness.

Still hanging in there. While life has gotten more uncomfortable, I actually have slightly more 'free' time. Relearning The Bazaar. Been about 1.5 years since I touched it, a lot has changed. I daren't branch out to the other cast, still feel like I have a lot of routes to explore with Vanessa.

We all ate the lie as kids. The little jingles and logos at game start, we got attached to those. I like this thing so I like these guys! But what we really needed to do was watch the credits and develop loyalties to people instead of brands.

I used to stubbornly focus on raising all stats above 600 to increase the chances of making 3 star stat legacies. Those horses were good for breeding, on the rare chances they dropped, but didn't do well in the PVP scene.

I broke down. I just chase the statlines I see work. Seeing results now.

Busy days lately and coming up. Closing out my time over here. I think I'm 50 days or less now.

I get a little bit more than an hour everyday to do stuff. Hard to find games where that's the loop, but Umamusume fits the bill. I do one quick career. I want the whole team past 13k, getting there

Most of the time, my life is pretty mundane. It's a lot like a civilian job. But sometimes, the circumstances get extreme, and it really does feel rather extraordinary.

My not so secret identity is that I work as a mechanic is the USAF. Stationed in Misawa Japan, currently deployed somewhere in the Middle East.

Its a living. Its not for everyone but it worked for me. And I think its important for people who dont align with the administrations agenda to be inside

Still undead and kicking. I keep thinking about doing daily movie posts (im watching a lot out here) but I keep trying to make it a whole thing and end up doing nothing.

At some point I crossed the 100 day mark out here. Getting closer to the end of my stay in the middle of the east.

Struggling lately. Had a few days where I've been too tired to function, too angry to sleep. Running into some real people problems and there's no break coming. Gotta make it work tho.

Tried new streaming setup. Alas, the location os way too public and high traffic. Its not gonna work. Ill see if I can find an alternative

Ahhh, that's a shame. My little area is was used for streaming has been confiscated for real world work stuff. I knew it was a possibility, common work area and all that, but I had grown accustomed to the nicety. Well, we'll see if I can find a new setup

Pfft, this didn't happen. Man, what a year. This is the hardest I've worked in my life. I worked my ass off in Korea. I worked my ass of in Japan. I am working my ass off in the Middle East. I am so tired, exhausted, expended.

At least I got some writing done this year. No idea what 2026 goal is

Watched 7 Samurai yesterday and instantly was like, "I want to play a super serious and elegant swordsman so bad!" even though I know I hate playing dead serious characters, ahah.

Hopefully things open up at some point, would love to run a game.
