I would imagine that uploading the manager's press conference footage to Celtic TV is usually a pretty routine part of the media team's job. So, it begs the question, what senior figure has had a word and blocked them from doing so today? McGregor's video is there, so there's no technical issue.

Rodgers' press conference should be interesting today. Aside from the issues around the window and protests, we'll hopefully get an update on Tierney and Ralston's fitness and a clue of when we'll see Iheanacho.

It is curious that Celtic haven't dared to promote the latest Adidas drop. If merch sales fall, that makes the club less appealing to sponsors and that is something which might worry them.

Quick glance at the Scotland U21 squad: two Celtic players and FIVE FORMER Celtic players. I think that says a lot about our failings at academy level.

A verbose, condescending, bad-faith response from the club. The fans are too smart to be fobbed off with this.

They are painfully tone deaf if they thought that statement would in any way calm the waters. I think, if anything, many fans are angrier now than before.

Maeda has apparently said the club blocked a move because we didn't sign replacements, BUT...you could argue that Jota, Balikwisha and Tounekti are all potential replacements on the left. The problem is we didn't adequately replace Kyogo or Kuhn (or Idah), who have actually left.

Ralston and Tierney out the national team squad means Scotland go into these games with no Celtic players in their ranks. Just a day after naming only 7/8 homegrown players in the Europa League squad, it makes you think.

He's going to score against Scotland tomorrow, isn't he?

Got to laugh at Rodgers saying "right in his peak years" about a player whose CV suggests he's been finished for a couple of years. It would be quite the redemption arc if he turns out to be a good signing, especially after turning us down in January just to flop at Middlesbrough

My current stance on the striker situation is we should give Shin and Kenny a proper chance in the next month or so. Start one, bring the other one on, rotate, see if either can make the jersey their own.

No wildcard past-it free agents and keep Maeda on the wing, for a while, at least.

And if the two new wingers hit the ground running he'll struggle to make the bench anyway, which means his value will drop. Feel sorry for him and it's just another example of the shambles that is our player trading.

- Been a long time since our striking options were this poor
- Hopefully one of Balikwisha/Tounekti/Maeda can establish themselves on the right
- Hopefully Saracchi proves competent
- Hope to see Donovan/Murray get a run ahead of Ralston/Scales
- Sinisalo no.1 by end of season

Too little, too late, and overall an absolute shambles. So recklessly incompetent it's hard to understand with any kind of good-faith analysis.

We need a YES to both questions to have a season we can enjoy. Huge day and a half coming up with hopefully a lot of movement on the transfer front, but then after the international break we need to see tactical solutions from the manager, better decisions and a more coherent use of the squad.

2 big questions now:

1) Can the board suddenly become quick movers and provide us with a squad properly equipped to compete on all fronts in the next 32 hours?

2) Does Rodgers have the energy, desire and ability to reinvent and reinvigorate the side to get the best out of them?

The team I expected, if not quite the one I wanted. No Idah tells its own story, but it's curious that Kenny drops out before Shin.

This is the team I'd start today.

Hard to predict the Celtic team today. You'd think that some rotation will be essential ahead of the next two games, but with the lack of depth, injuries and poor form, Rodgers may be reluctant to do so.
