I'm giving #XFCE a new try and I'm impressed! 1. Almost as snappy as #dwm. 2. Lots of customizability, looks good after tweaking. But I have issues switching between light/dark modes, switching GTK theme leaves apps (browser specifically) stuck in dark mode & it's quite stubborn. Any tips? #linux

Teachers and educators: What are you best/favorite arguments against grades and grading students? And what are your best arguments for?

I can’t really understand why someone would prefer reading pdf’s in Emacs compared to epub. As plain text epubs are an absolute joy to read and work with in org mode (nov.el). And lately I’ve tried org-remark that lets me annotate the epub as well and integrates with nov. Just awesome stuff. #emacs

Agreed, and historically speaking the anarchist tradition would be much poorer without parts of the gospel and words of Jesus, anabaptists, Quakers, certain Jesuits and Franciscans, the Catholic workers movement and parts of Buddhism, Islam and Judaism. Religion is not one thing.

These variants of Christian anarchism is slowly seeping into my life. I have been reading and listening for a while now, there are things in here that resonate deeply.
