Trump’s trade deal with Japan is bad for Michigan. It sells out auto workers, ignores labor protections, and continues reckless tariff policy creating uncertainty for manufacturers. Where’s the deal for Michigan? We need fair, enforceable deals focused on strengthening manufacturing at home.

We should be focused on lowering costs for Michiganders, not gutting trusted public services. But, my Republican colleagues pushed through cuts to public media that could strip $3M a year from Detroit PBS, threatening jobs, local news, education, and our emergency alerts. Michigan deserves better.

This is outrageous. Allowing ICE to access Medicaid records is a blatant violation of privacy. More than 3 million Michiganders rely on Medicaid.
