I would say that you don’t need to be an Instagram teacher. It’s okay to start small and not have a classroom that looks like what you see online. I’d also tell them to be open to feedback, reflect frequently, ask ALL the questions, and build relationships.

If you’re learning to improve your own skills, start small! Try out the cool AI features like magic presentation, or start with premade templates and play around with them until you’re happy. TikTok also has some really helpful tutorial videos!

It’s officially my last week of summer break and I’m curious what the #EDUsky community would do during their last week? Do you start easing back into work mode? Or take the time to fully rest?

That’s very cool. I think I’d have to adapt it to do with PLCs, as I’m on a single campus with two instructional coaches on the same campus. Would be fun to see what all the PLCs come up with. Thanks for sharing this!

This is genius! Love the challenge and creativity behind this concept.

I feel like I missed out on so much info at ISTE this year. I’d rate myself a 1.5 as I have a base level knowledge on a few of the items, but not all. My curiosity is how can we bring this to a middle school level to prepare them for the basics of Web 3.0 and build on their skills in HS.
