Thoughts and Theories - Grown up Sora voice is weird given that this seems to take place immediately after 1 where he's still young. - Sora was asleep in KH2. So maybe Roxas is already a thing. I forgot what the deal is with him. Sora's Nobody iirc. - Namine! She drew the castle of Oblivion so maybe she's guiding us to find our memories? - KH1 combat translated into cards is pretty cool stuff. Hope we can do some broken stuff with it. - I remember there's a card mechanic in one of the Organization XIII boss fights in 2 so maybe that's the hooded figure in the intro. - MORE RIKU PLS

Yakuza 5's final boss battle will always be one of the best in the series

Just finished Chapter 6. Thought it'd be fun to make an enemy tier list based on how annoying I find them. Surprised at how diverse the enemies are. Game's pretty punishing if you don't adapt to their gimmick. HATE the ninja bombs so much btw. #NinjaGaidenSigma #PandaNGS

First boss fight! Game was like "hey dodging is useful" just before this fight so I figured it's gonna be key and it was! Got lucky and figured out his pattern.

Getting used to the pacing of combat and learning some hidden mechanics like yellow orbs for instant charge attacks. Was wondering why collecting them doesn't have any indication. The combat is so unique I like it so far.

First few minutes feeling out the combat. Lots to pay attention to like spacing, blocking and combos. Camera sucks also

Heard this game is super hard among character action games and yeah there's def a steep learning curve to the combat. This is gonna be rough cuz I'm the button-mashing type. Think I almost died 3x during the first mission lol.

Time to suffer?

Game needs 40m more budget to finish, NetEase says no and stopped funding the project. Now it's at risk of cancellation and studio closure seems imminent.

Cool that we got weirdos like Uchikoshi (Zero Escape), Kodaka (Danganronpa), Yoko Taro (NieR), and Kojima (Metal Gear) in this space. I'd add Takanari Ishiyama (PARANORMASIGHT) there too esp with how he plays around with stories that can only work in games. No weird crazy stuff tho unlike those 4 😂

Title Screen Twist So you finish the actual ending in a sad note and you wanna change that. The only way is to use a 400-year old mermaid's scale that contains an echo somehow but you don't know how. You then will have to figure out the truth of the game UI. That you are a spirit of the main character that died in the first ending. That the UI is about your own memories. The saving and loading? That's you literally sifting through your memories and there's a secret load slot at the very bottom of the load screen. This contains the missing memory. Again, you can't hear it because it's been so long ago it's faded. Well... you don't have to hear it but you can thankfully "see" it via the history log when obtaining the scale. So the message says "call out to me every 4 seconds". At this point, you know who it is and is the only mermaid left but... she's apparently gone to "ryugu" or the space between life and death many years ago and she doesn't appear during the story... oh wait. the TITLE SCREEN has a mermaid in it. So I did as the message said and OMG she talked! Such a cool reveal. I just wish getting here doesn't require vague stuff like the first game (spoilers) where you gotta get past a curse that chants curses at you and the solution is to mute the game in the options lol.

So I've been using 3 save slots but never had a reason to use a 4th one. I thought of save-scumming through different options so I can just load w/o skipping dialog. Now I have a reason to scroll and see how many slots there are only to see an extra slot 6 that the game put there. God that was annoying.
