Today remembering my Dad who died a year ago this morning. Fan of red admirals, Mondrian, Bauhaus, Red Kite birds, Little Richard, Dire Straits, red wine, Old Holborn, Bob Dylan. Was the first in the family to go to university, was working class, a silversmith, cabinet maker, artist. It aches.

Today we said farewell to Wilfred Mesquita from Wythenshawe and Jamaica, who died peacefully. His family were with him. Described as a gentle, grumpy, kind and spiritual man. I saw his paintings over the years and they were amazing. Rest in power and peace Wilf. Prayers for Eula and all in grief.
