Malik Monk as a starter won’t fix all the Kings’ issues. But right now they aren’t good enough to worry about anything other than putting themselves in the best position to win games from tip-off.

Malik does that.

DeMar DeRozan out again vs. the Timberwolves. I’d imagine De’Aaron will see doubles, a very motivated Anthony Edwards, and defense sagging off to prevent drives.

Heartbreaking loss for the Kings. But more importantly De’Aaron Fox just went toe to toe with the NBA’s golden boy, that means something.

The typical thinking when you face a team that only has one legit scoring threat is to force the ball out of their hands.

Mike Brown asked questions about Kings’ 3-point shooting woes, said they’re getting a lot of the same looks from year 1 and year 2, but they could get some easier looks from sprays.
