Throw back to four years ago when I thought I had the perfect costume to wear to the Vegas Halloween show and the only reaction I got was four people asking me where the Dunkin Donuts was in the MGM Grand. Just another d-bag from Boston.

I’m offended we’re reduced to rooting for corporations to save our culture from worse corporations.

Museums could have caved under Trump’s cultural broadsides. Instead, they are rising to the moment. - The Boston Globe Despite presidential threats to come after independent museums for displays Trump has called improper, hopeful examples abound of bold exhibitions that don't capitulate.

Text below says WENN'S MAL WIEDER SCHNELL GEHEN MUSS (When you need to move fast)

Underneath is more German text which translates as "The BΓΆcker Agilo transports your treasures weighing up to 400kg at 42m/min - quiet as a whisper."

The German company that makes the mechanical ladder used in the Louvre heist has used the image to advertise, with the text 'When you need to move fast'

If you're a writer/other creator in the United States, consider creating an LLC for your business and then signing up for a local area Chamber of Commerce. Many of them have health insurance plans that pool their members and members of other CoCs to create insurance efficiencies relative to ACA.

I just watched this the other day, and also really liked it! I almost wish there hadn't been the reveal of her face, and her disfigurement had remained a mystery, but I probably would have complained about that, too.

A 2021 survey found 42% of consumers didn’t know Lays potato chips are made from potatoes. I’d love to know how that question was phrased.

all discourse aside, there is one machine with consciousness. it's printers. they are alive and conscious and they hate you and they'd take your arm clean off if you let them. never trust a printer.

This is a huge collapse in the book distribution business, especially following the closure of Small Press Distribution last year. Baker & Taylor--originally established in 1828--has been central to the library market for decades.

Turns out we underestimated how many of you love Mexican Pizza. 7x more than we expected, to be exact. We are working as fast as we can to restock Mexican Pizza ingredients. We'll need some time to replenish our supplies, but when it comes back, we promise it's here to stay.

Market Basket board fires CEO Arthur T. Demoulas after unsuccessful mediation - The Boston Globe Board chair Jay Hachigian wouldn’t say much about why the mediation failed, other than to note that the three-member board voted to remove Demoulas on Tuesday.

I don't want to start a thing so I'll just say that there will never be a good argument for privatizing USPS. That would be like privatizing libraries. The aim of services isn't to be run for profit, they are for serving the greater good, which USPS has been extremely successful at.
