esp considering people esp in like book spaces for some reason will hurl if they detect even a hint of what they perceive to be masculinity in a female character . literally could just be a woman who presents as feminine but she yells at a man once and suddenly she’s an icky scary butch or w/e

but like this is smth that bothers me a lot too like. i think there is something to be said abt how femininity is often perceived as synonymous w passivity and weakness and mutually exclusive to strength BUT to act as though there is an abundance of masculine female characters is. so fucking funny
