A lot of people are not going to be attending international conferences in the USA and it is going to have a huge economic impact. Some because they don’t feel welcome here, some because they will not be able to get visas or fear border harassment. And many who simply do not want to spend here.

US economists generally like a weaker dollar for trade purposes. But all bets are off if indeed the world stops buying American products. And the increased number of people who travel to Europe from the USA will not like the weaker dollar.

I think you should see it and form your own opinion of it. It may not be everyone’s (or most people’s) ideal trans representation, but so far my experience with trans people is that each of their experiences is unique and valid. I don’t generally read reviews. Queer has similar issues.
