That sounds right, at least for visual artists. :D

That being said as much as some tasks a boring for certain artists, they are very important for learning process. The say drawing part is arguably the least important par of the creative process, most of comes from collecting knowledge.

It alright. People will always seek to invest less and get the most. As much as it needs AI needs regulation art community needs to be educated on how this technology functions. Fine artists especially, as they are less impacted then people in the creative industry.

Art scene here is not very aware of how this technology works so if I can do at least a little bit to rise awareness I am happy.

The good thing is people I met last night felt open to conversation. Both engineers and fine artists were pretty interested in discussing the issue. That being said I will spend this week giving interviews on ethics, unregulated training and artists' view on AI in art.

The only place it can possibly find in art is possibly some form of conceptual art. HOWEVER, I still don't think is should be done before ethical issue is solved.

Not only did GenAI, as it is on the period from 2021.-2026., prove unethical, it showed the inability to understand and produce artist' unique expression. The results of generating lack any conceptual meaning. In short- the best GenAI can do is produce an esthetically acceptable image.

It required a large amount of my own artwork alongside weight adjustments, for it to be able to produce a semi-decent result.
It achieved a level of visual similarity but importing fine details could not be introduced without it imploding, therefore removing all forms of narrative from the image.

First I wrote a comic script and made character concepts. After that I first made the original illustrations, I attempted to replicate the results using AI aiming to explore if it actually can produce results akin to my artistic expression.
Expectedly, it failed.

Focal points of the research are AI ethics, plagiarism and the question of authorship.

Last night I opened my doctoral art exhibition Artificial intelligence - creator or plagiarist.
