#OTD 1917, Adm Jellicoe, hero of the Battle of Jutland, was sacked as the 1st Sea Lord. The history of this dramatic event is recounted in my latest novel. His successor went on to institute more aggressive action by the @RoyalNavy, again described in my book. #WW1 #amwritingfiction #BookWorm
