I am very glad I am doing my PhD by distance learning because I just showed up to a seminar only to realise we've already broken up for the holidays 😅

Just started watching Influencers on Shudder and it’s already a horror film based on the personality of the main influencer alone 😱😅

My brain is basically just a chaotic mixture of song lyrics, memes and bits of philosophy 😅

At this time of year, whenever I start to work on my PhD, which is partly based on Heidegger's 'Sein und Zeit' (roughly pronounced 'sign und zight'), the title plays over and over again in my head to the tune of 'Silent Night.'

You know you're at a difficult part of your thesis when you decide it's time to file your tax return 😄 #phdlife

When the next thing to do in your thesis is resolve a comment from yourself that says "explain meaning of words in this sentence" and the sentence is:

"Dasein, as ontico-ontologically prior, is uniquely placed both to understand and not to understand what is happening in its world."
