Had a dream a while back in which I discovered the existence of the "Grave of the Fireflies/Super Mario World 2-in-1" for the Wii. It basically functioned as a DVD except for a "special features" section that literally only had an SNES emulator playing Mario World. It went for absurd prices on eBay

Creature Commandos
its real good, i like the vibe, i like the characters, its got some good humor
my biggest gripe is probably that it didn't balance the characters well. only like 3.5 of them were ever focused on outside of their dedicated flashback episode.

i actually didnt know about the recent rerelease of the arcade version and i would have gotten that instead, were i aware of it
but i wasnt, so i played the gameboy version. and its alright. its more or less what i imagine a gameboy mario odyssey to be, and that alone is cool

Kid Dracula (GB)
its good. its one of those ports thats also a sequel that uses the same level theming but the levels themselves are remixed. i feel like its kinda just on-par with the nes version though, a real side grade that does a lot of things better and just as many worse

Ganbare! Daiku no Gensan
of the 3 hammerin harry games ive played, this is the most forgettable. the controls dont feel as good, the levels suck and just about all it has goin for it is the snes charm

Tomato Adventure
its kind of babys first jrpg, but it has plenty of charm in it, i love the visuals, the humor is so-so but there are funny moments, and the combat is... interesting. you gotta do these minigames every time you attack for more damage and its fine but it gets old
