This is exactly how I feel about every Advance Wars/WarSim inspired game.

I played ReBootCamp on Switch & absolutely adored it, but every “successor” out there is so gritty & serious & just lacks that special 2000’s sauce/music/toon flair that made those original GBA games pop for younger audiences

Just some cool pictures & pick-ups from my convention hopping this summer! It’s really been something special to meet the VAs & other people behind hobbies I had/still have & series I adore today.

This deck has REFUSED to die for the past 2 years it’s been legal. It’s adapted perfectly to the new banlist, breaks boards, has a new in-archetype floodgate, and has more support on the way, but I’ll NEVER pick it up because of THAT part of the fanbase…

long story short: A LOT of people have needed me for a LOT of things lately, & while it's who-I-am to step up/help out, I've been burning at both ends. Social media has been very doom-y lately, which is why I mostly post cons/streams/stuff-that-sparks-joy

1) Sorry I've been using this mostly for stream posts. I've been trying to take a social media break, which I know isn't good for networking/streaming stuff, but has helped in other ways.

2) Thanks all for keeping in touch. Whether from a stream, convention, celebs, etc. Thanks😊

But in terms of favorite CARDS, Shooting Star Dragon is one of my favorites of all time. It was the 1st time a big-bingus anime monster was not only viable but saw play! Assembling it back in the day felt so satisfying.

I was definitely a Blue-Eyes kid, but I’ve grown up into a Stardust adult😆

I bet you were expecting Yusei.dek here, but I’m gonna go to bat for White Forest! They combine the expression of synchrons with the grind game of branded & it’s one of my fav decks/archetypes in recent years. There’s so many ways to build it & I feel like I could brew with them for ages.
