And Raccoon was exactly what I thought it would be and it is absolutely on my wishlist.

So that’s it for my 12.5 hour marathon! I played 12 games and wishlisted 8 of them, which is a pretty good rate I think. Be sure to check out some of these and all the other sweet demos and support indie games!

Beyond Words is absolutely Balatro Scrabble, so if that sounds good to you then you already know. Pretty neat.

Last demo of the night is Raccoin: Coin Pusher Roguelike because I absolutely have to play this game before I go to bed. It looks adorable!

Replaced is really slick, and absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see more of it!

Next up is Beyond Words, a Scrabble-like deckbuilding roguelike by the creators of...Perfect Dark, GoldenEye, and Timesplitters? Yup, sounds like a winner to me, let's try it!

Lunchbreak Tactics reminded me too much of Hearthstone Battlegrounds for my personal taste, but if that's your jam then give it a try!

Next is Replaced, "a 2.5D cinematic action platformer wrapped in an intense cyberpunk thriller narrative". Sounds awesome!

Wild Blue Skies is what you think it is. If you love Starfox, you'll love it!

Next up is Lunchbreak Tactics, a very anime autobattler set in a supermarket...backstore? What does that mean? I don't know either, let's find out!

Heroes of Cards & Magic was exactly what it says on the tin, a Slay the Spire type game with a deck of normal cards as the base. A little unpolished, but I enjoyed it.

Next up is Wild Blue Skies, an homage to Starfox 64 that looks to be just as fun as that was! Yay!

The Ratline was AWESOME! Turns out I really enjoy investigation games - who knew? I certainly didn't!

Next up is Heroes of Magic & Cards, a roguelike deckbuilder that uses playing cards as a base, so this should be a neat twist on the formula. Come check it out!

Sugar Shatter is adorable and fun, if a little unpolished. I bet it's a lot of fun with other people to play with!

Next up is The Ratline, an investigation game about hunting down escaped Nazis, so RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! Let's go!

Esoteric Ebb is exactly what it says on the tin, but since I haven't played Disco Elysium yet I have no frame of reference. I did laugh several times though. Next up is Sugar Shatter, a fighting game based on Breakout (or Arkanoid if you're nasty). Should be fun, let's check it out!

Turns out How Many Dudes was really silly and I loved it. Next up is Esoteric Ebb, a sort of fantasy version of Disco Elysium, I think? Let's find out!

Forbidden Solitaire was exactly what I wanted - a 90's CD-ROM version of Inscryption 🤣

Scott Pilgrim EX was awesome! Next up, a bizarre little throwback to 90s PC nonsense that caught my eye - Forbidden Solitaire! I'm looking forward to this, come check it out! 😁

Greetings my Pooligans! I’m looking for some ideas for the thematic hook for this year’s charity stream! In the past I’ve done roguelikes, multiplayer, and choosing from a giant list of preselected achievements from dozens of games to go after. That’s the TL;DR. For more info let’s do a thread!

Oh, and don’t worry, the giveaways and from the giant spreadsheet will absolutely be coming back. I still have SO MANY games to give out 😱

Let me hear your ideas! Particular genres or series? Something else mechanical like the Cheevos to tie the weekend together? The more ideas the better, so hit me with anything you think would be fun for an entire weekend! And remember - it’s for charity! Thank you my Pooligans! 💜

Let’s establish some baselines: I don’t have the skillset or mindset for speedruns or challenge runs, so none of that (sorry nuzlocke fans). And let’s not do a single game for the whole time either. I’m gonna need variety to survive all that time with my sanity intact 😅

Welp, since @discord.com would rather train their AI or get data to sell or whatever it is they're actually doing (think of the children is BS and we all know it) I'm looking for a new place to host The Mana Pool's community server. Who has input on an alternative?
