Just wait until non-sweet puddings come into the mix. Haggis? Pudding. Blood sausage? Pudding. Yorkshire pudding? Pudding. Steak and kidney pie? Pudding.

Chocolate pudding? Custard or blancmange.

In that case, it might not be that. But if you can take the cover off the fan and/or switch, you can change the frequencies (usually a slider switch) and see if anything starts to work. There is a small chance that vibration from the fan, a banging door, etc. could make the slider switch misalign.

Is the wall controller on the same frequency as the fan/light? They usually have 3-4 settings to switch to, so that each room in a house doesn’t control another fan/light by mistake.

I’m new to reading budget requests, so this may be a naive question, or a misunderstanding. On page 5 of the exec summary it says that half of the RPG budget is reserved to pay the whole outyear costs of a grant, instead of competing then non-competing renewals. Does that mean fewer awards/year?

Is it usual for some of these meetings to be all open to the public? Most of the ones I have seen are either closed, or have a closed portion for grant discussions. The NHLBAC seems to be all open to the public - does that mean no grants will be discussed?

I agree - the only thing that gives hope is that they went to the trouble of updating their own IC webpage, which they didn’t do for all the other false dawns.

Not sure if it’s in the FR yet, but NHLBI has planned a make-up meeting in April and their regular one in June (according to their website, and eRA Commons).

Just had a review assignment for an NLHBI SEP canceled (was invited to review last month for a meeting in May). It seems like the plan to remove all IC-based review is in full swing.

No, again it’s on eRA commons. I’m pretty sure it’s just gaslighting me. Although, it was for a grant that was ND’d, so the jokes on them!

On the (possible) upside, there is now a NHLBI Advisory Council date listed for June that wasn’t there yesterday.
