Kacchan’s invitation to join his agency makes sense. So does his aggression when they’re called onto the same jobs. All of it is an effort to coax the fighting spirit back out of Izuku. He should have known Kacchan wouldn’t quit so easily. And Izuku’s smiling refusals, his hesitance; his half-in, half-out approach to reviving his childhood dream. This is where it’s gotten them. Locked in his own head. Or: While attempting to stop a bank robbery, Izuku and Katsuki suddenly find themselves on an extended trip down memory lane. They'll need to communicate in order to find a way back. Should be easy, right? Except nothing seems to be easy between them these days.

as soon as kacchan embraced his character development hori started drawing him as so ethereally beautiful... interesting...

Anyways this is just me coping because I love the romanticism of One for All; how it was born of genuine care for others. Izuku truly is such a good person at heart, and he really did earn that power fair and square and I miss it 😭

It's one for all, but it's also All for One- in the way the phrase originally meant. Everyone's hopes and dreams hinging on Izuku means they lend him their power, their determination, and it manifests in him having the ability he needs to save and win.

I think there's something very neat about Izuku being a hero literally powered by how much people believe in him. One For All- Izuku standing up to evil for the sake of others (always others, always reaching out to save) is what makes him a hero. Figuratively AND literally.

Maybe his ability to call other's will, to join their hopes together and inspire them is what will now give him the literal super strength he needs to be a hero. So with everyone rooting for him like they did during the last battle, the embers come roaring back.

The network is creating a feedback loop wherein everyone is getting strength from each other. If One For All evolved to hold the strength of everyone's collective will, and not just the Holders', then Izuku may not have really lost One For All after all.

Izuku's genuine spirit is what makes others root for him. It's also what makes the people around him stronger.

Just a note: In the final fight, ShigAFO realized that danger sense isn't working because everyone's animosity is overpowering it.

What is OFA? It's the combined strength of those who have needed saving and those who have reached out, over and over and over again. Turning something small into something strong.

And Izuku can feel it. He can feel their collective will, even though he's alone in the fight. (Note: this is from the manga- one can read into whether or not Izuku is hearing diegetic or non-diegetic sound)

Everyone is still cheering for him. They're wanting him to succeed. Just like in his battle against ShigAFO, everyone is telling him to do his best. Earnestly rooting for him.

I like to imagine that one day, after the timeskip, Izuku is in a huge battle. It's going badly. His suit is damaged, he's up against the wall. The fight is being televised. Everyone is watching with baited breath. The embers have long since gone out. Dire circumstances. Except.
