Looking out over frozen lake, the orange ball of the sun is just clearing the low clouds that skirt the horizon. The ice is purple blue with very little to mar the surface except for a few small ridges that are starting to form.
It is -20°C this morning. The lake is locking up, but not thick enough to walk on yet.
