I think you’re being over generous. I’m not prone to being overly critical, but it’s been like Groundhog Day for me in terms of performances. we just haven’t played well for a single game all season. You seem to mistake strokes of brilliance from great players for satisfactory form.

Had to read some extracts from Lord of the Rings for my English GCSE. Learning about ‘setting’ and how writers use all kinds of techniques to set a scene. Anyway, I’ve ordered it from Waterstones. Never thought I’d read it but starting to understand why Tolkien is appreciated.
