Devastating to hear a young man lost his life in Newington #SE17 last night. We were in the area today speaking to the police about the incident who are encouraging anyone with information to share (CAD 7392/14APR). My thoughts are with his friends and family.

We're lucky to have great primary schools in Newington including Crampton #SE17 which is in the top 1% nationally. Today we met teachers & governors to discuss what extra support they need to continue delivering outstanding education for children with a particular focus on SEND provision.

Mostly happens when a team have played on Thursday night so they've got enough recovery time. Usually due to Europa League but Bournemouth obviously played last night so they need a couple of days rest before they turn you over 😉

Great Saturday morning out in Newington, starting with a session speaking to residents in Chapter and Lorrimore Road #SE17 before opening the new Frederick's Playground on Westcott Road. This will be a great youth provision which we know will make such a positive difference to the local area.
