After the M8.8 earthquake off Kamchatka Peninsula, Russian Navy Project 02690 seagoing self-propelled floating cranes SPK 42150 & SPK 43150 were observed meandering around Rybachiy Submarine Base, but only in spots they were regularly seen.

No indication they were needed for any task.

Dollars to donuts, I bet these are subs already routinely there anyways.
