Our Glee Clubbers performed in front of their friends this afternoon in preparation for the big event at Paisley Town Hall next week.
The children were amazing at singing and dancing and delivered the choreography with expert timing.
Let’s do this, Team Newmains!!

We’ve had a number of enthusiastic engineers and construction workers building dens at lunchtime this week. It’s great to see the children working together and sharing the equipment so positively.
It’s amazing how creative the children can be with some old tyres and pallets!

Our House Captains worked hard today to film a playground and road safety video to share with our parents and carers.

We would like to thank our local police and safety wardens for agreeing to be interviewed by our pupils.

Our Sports Ambassadors and the Parent Council have been working together on the purchase of a new team kit for when our children take part in sporting competitions throughout the year.
The Sports Ambassadors researched examples of sports kits and wrote to the Parent Council for financial support.

Our amazing House Captains planned, organised and judged today’s Red Nose Day joke competition. After listening to hundreds of jokes over the last 2 weeks, the House Captains were able to whittle it down to just 16 jokes.
Well done to Rory from P5a who won the over all competition.

Thank you to Alison Hammond from the Great British Bake Off for sending our pupils a good luck message for the Great Newmains Bake Off. They were very excited to receive this video!

We were amazed to see the creativity and skills shown with all the Great Newmains Bake Off entries!
Our Pupil Council did a fantastic job of running the event.
We would also like to thank the Three Sisters Bake for donating a voucher for our Star Baker prize.

World Book Day 2025

Little Miss Sunshine graced us with her presence today for a very sunny World Book Day.

We will be welcoming the team from NSPCC who will deliver an online safety workshop for parents/carers on Thursday 24th April from 5.45 - 6.45pm. This will be held in the school.
