... We show that citizens' perceptions of bias are widespread in 🇩🇪, 🇳🇱, 🇬🇧, 🇵🇱 and 🇪🇸. Most notably, we find that the direction of perceived bias mirrors one’s own ideological position. Our results provide further insight into the role of occupation, education, gender, and political attitudes on PRR voting, and stress the importance of people’s strong ties in voting behavior outcomes. (4/4)

The partner’s attitude toward immigrants and their political discontent - which are partly shaped by the partner's own occupation and education - affect one's chance to vote for the populist radical right, regardless of their own political attitudes. (3/4)

.. husband’s occupation affects the wife’s chance to vote for a populist radical right party, whereas the wife's education influences the husband’s vote choice. These effects can be partly understood as ‘units of stratification’, but also as ‘contexts of socialization’. (2/4)
