Had a great bday dinner with friends. They had this really good mango and pineapple sushi roll. It wasn't really sweet like I was expecting it to be.

Watching a video tour of the new Pokémon park that just opened in Japan. It looks neat. Hope I get to visit Japan one day

Was making a late dinner and scalded 2 of my fingers. Not how I wanted my bday to start off, but it could have been worse.

Dq7 is unique for that progression style. It's why it is also one of my favs for the series. I love the time traveling because it reminds me of Chrono Trigger.

2 hours until early access for dragon quest 7 reimagined. I'm hoping i like this version as much as the ds and original. It's one of my favorite in the series

Just got back from the vet. Mocha had her allergy test done. Waiting for results.if it comes back negative, I have to wait until she has another flare up in spring or summer. She actually behaved well at the vet today, which is unusual. Normally, there is a lot of tortitude.

Today i learned that 12 hour shifts are getting harder to do. Im exhausted and so sore. Not volunteering for extra hours for a bit

I see difficulty settings and I've played the other versions a lot so we are picking hard mode. I may regret this because I don't level grind if I don't have to

Dragon quest 7 reimagined has a demo out. About to try it out to see some of the changes. I loved the original and the ds remake. It's probably my 2nd favorite after dq5. 7 gets such a bad rep because of all the side content and slow beginning so I hope I like the changes

One of my cats eats too fast so we got one of those slow feeder bowls. She responds with proper tortie attitude by pulling it out with her paws at first, then flipping the bowl when that isnt fast enough

Bathed the cats with minimal injuries. Not having to change clothes and only 1 bandage is a win. Both of them are probably plotting my demise but they really needed it

Went to a new sushi restaurant with the bf. Eyes were bigger than my stomach. Their sushi is a bit higher quality. They do more pieces on specialty rolls and have more things than what I'm used to. Still waiting on my entree and almost full.

Happy new years to everyone! 2025 has been chaotic and had a lot of uncertainty for me. I'm hoping I can try to make some changes for myself this year. I need to get in better shape and want to travel more. I also want to get back into reading. I have a pile of books to read
