Overall, it was just a weird experience having this company approach me for a job offer I didn't apply to. The pay was really good (I'd be making up to double what I made at my last job) but I guarantee that I'd be absolutely miserable there. Not worth it.

Primarily, they were looking for people with experience in customer service, which I've exclusively worked in grocery stores, so that showed on my resume pretty heavily. However, I absolutely hated the customer service parts of my job, and my last job was overnight so that I didn't have to do it.

However, this turned out to be for a local marketing company, and I'm still not sure how they got my resume and contact details. I went through with the initial meeting over Zoom and went on with a personal interview with them, again over Zoom. They selected me for a final interview but I cancelled.

I want to talk about this weird job interview experience I had last week. I've only shared this on Discord, but I've been unemployed since the middle of December and have just been coasting on my savings. Last week, I got a text from what I thought was the local tabletop game store I applied to.

When the new Daima thing further disproves that it and Super take place in the same continuity. I've been saying it since day 1, people.

I dunno. I genuinely don't think about that kind of stuff.

As I was going to bed last night, there was a very loud crack of what I thought was thunder outside but I checked the weather app and there wasn't really any rain on the radar. It occurred to me that it might have been a plane making a sonic boom.

If you're like me and saw the Daima dub in theaters, today marks the release of new content with Episode 4. I still need to catch up with the previous episode, so I'm going to do that and veg out before bed.

Obsessively refreshing my emails waiting for the gift card code I redeemed yesterday because I want to order food.

Whenever I'm considering playing a Minecraft modpack, the only requirement I have is for jetpacks to be included.

I had a big craving for something sweet, so I went out and bought a red velvet cake mix to use with the baking pan I got for Christmas. Despite making a huge mess (I dropped the mixing bowl into the pan while I was spooning the mix into it), it turned out great.

Being an adult means making brownies and eating the raw batter despite knowing full well why you shouldn't (there's a raw egg in there).

When Mega Pokémon return in Legends Z-A, they better change Mega Gallade's ability to Sharpness. Inner Focus is such a niche ability and I've never actually seen it used ever. If Mega Scizor can keep Technician, let Gallade keep the SIGNIFICANTLY better of its normal abilities, too.

Just got back from watching the dub of Daima. The animation is absolutely gorgeous, and I like the lore ties to both the original Dragon Ball and also Super. Very interested to see more.

Oh yeah, Daima's dub is premiering in theaters for the next few days. Snagged myself a ticket, it seems I'm the only one in my viewing so far... that'll be an interesting experience. (This is also the same theater I saw most of the Mario movie in when the audio completely cut out in the climax, so)
