I did really like Freya though, she was my favorite character by a long shot. I love her design, and the part where [eht taf neeuq sekun aicemrub] was the one of the few times I recall the game giving me emotions.

I've always felt weird for not jiving with FF9 as much as others. It seems to be everyone's fav or second-fav, but when I played it years ago it left like zero impact on me (granted I stopped at the card tournament I think). I guess I need to replay it to figure out what it is I missed last time.

Never take these people seriously when they say they care about fighting antisemitism.

Of course, that's when limited to stand-alones specifically. Franchises would include Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future, Narnia, Shrek, Tron, and (sadly) Harry Potter 🤢.

Growing up, a few that come to mind would be Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Galaxy Quest, National Treasure, Flight of the Navigator, Dragonheart, Ladyhawke, and The Princess Bride.

In more recent years I've added Willow and The Last Unicorn.

I have pretty similar feelings, about wanting to feel through it, control it, feel it connected, etc. and how nice that would be. It's fascinating how we can both have almost the exact same desire for completely opposite reasons.

Do you have any reasons in particular you love tails the way you do? (Don't mean to pry, but I got the impression you like talking about this stuff, so figured I'd ask, could do in DM if you'd prefer).

I've always been curious about why different people like tails. Like, in my case it's related to therian phantom limb/body dysphoria stuff, which is why I tend to fixate on anatomy, movement, feeling, etc.

I'm curious, does the tail need to be distinct from the rear? (i.e. insect/arachnid abdomens don't count)

And are legs important? (i.e. naga/lamia and merfolk tails don't count)
