Iβm thinking of Caroline Kennedy today, who lost her father, mother and then her brother. She is an example of dignity and grace for us all.

His friend said heβs going to wash fruit with soap, too.

Exactly! We should all do this all the time.
22.11.2025 13:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Actually, Iβm going to change my statement, thanks to my mother: we were raised to wash hands, surfaces, thoroughly cook food etc because my mother was a parasitologist. We traveled around the world in some rough places at times and never got sick.
My children do all of this as well.

My pleasure. Itβs another thing we need to protect ourselves against.
22.11.2025 13:00 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Food safety considerations Transmission of avian influenza to people from the consumption of eggs or poultry is unlikely. As a general practice, food safety measures should always be practiced when handling poultry and egg products such as: β’ Always wash hands before cooking or eating. β’ Wash hands before and after handling uncooked poultry and egg products for at least 20 seconds with warm, soapy water β’ Keep uncooked poultry and egg products separate from other food products to prevent cross-contamination β’ Clean and sanitize all surfaces and utensils with hot, soapy water and a household sanitizer (e.g., bleach and water solution) β’ Cook poultry pieces to a minimum internal temperature of 74Β°C (165Β°F) and whole poultry to 82Β°C (180Β°F); use a probe thermometer to confirm cooking temperatures.
Staying safe when eating is doable because the virus is killed by the right amount of heat.
Iβll repeat my recommendation: get a food thermometer and use it.
No runny eggs either.
Wash your hands. Clean surfaces.

So weβre doing a cult of personality?
Am I the only one who doesnβt care who he didnβt like yesterday, likes today or dislikes tomorrow?
Thereβs real news. This ainβt it.
In case youβre wondering:
The key people behind tomorrowβs planned nationwide Ostrich Convoy include an aging Burning Man attendee who drives a psychedelic school bus called the βChurch of Bubblesβ and a Dutch-born Gen Z social media marketer who imports maple syrup to Utrecht, Netherlands
Convoy leaders, including Kerr, say they plan to stage events targeting regional offices for Canada's food inspection agency, though none can point to any specific rules or regulations they want the CFIA to change. "I don't know much about the regulations and those side of things," Schep said, adding that the ostrich convoy is simply about raising "awareness" of the plight of farmers in Canada. "They specifically want the politicians to listen to them and make sure they're heard."
This is a garble of nonsense: target food inspection, but donβt know which rule or policy, just raising awareness?
