I just looked it up; the first two campaigns promised 3 episodes at the $2MM mark. So technically we’re ahead of pace, sort of?

I doubt this campaign reached $5-6MM like the others did, but if they get some overflow money to keep running RiffTrax, I’m happy with that.

As much as I’d like more episodes, I appreciate that this campaign seems to be controlling the scope a bit. I feel like the last two campaigns bit off more than they could chew, and they have to re-earn some trust by only promising what they can deliver. (And putting it in very trusted hands).

Heck yeah! I like to do them with a simple vanilla glaze. Super sticky, but very good.

I like this setup because:

1) It skips ahead of the early grind.

2) You get to see card interactions you would never see otherwise.

3) The bullet above is balanced out by the dilution of more focused strategies, you need to be creative.

4) Because it’s custom, no penalty for abandoning a run.

I’m playing Slay the Spire on A20 with a custom setup: Sealed Deck, The Heart, Diverse, Colorless. Basically my starting 10 and all cards thereafter could by anything in the game.

Finally finished with The Defect after infinity million tries today. The Watcher I fear will be even harder.

Air fryer biscuit donuts for afternoon snack, and red hot dogs out of our coca-cola branded steamer for dinner. It was a great day for novelty food in our house.

Tomorrow’s a good day to, uh, eat a vegetable probably.

They could have revealed Danhausen was responsible for The Vision being cursed with injuries, it was RIGHT THERE.

Haven’t played since it was new, but I remember the combat in that game being incredibly satisfying.

Honestly, this is a good way to think about it. I see a lot of similarities between my favorite indie feds and my favorite local theatre troupes. In particular, those that have the audacity to swing big and the talent to back it up.

Buy a ticket, buy concessions, come back for the next one.
