I wish I was able to do something about it too.

In one week, for two separate roles, I was told I was too experienced for one (and they were worried I would get bored and leave in a year) and the other one they were concerned I wasn't experienced enough so they went with the other candidate.

I've now registered for an abn so I can start food deliveries, and got my RSA in the hopes of some work in a bar or bottle shop, but who knows how that will go. Also registered with a hospitality company for touring artists and musicians but that won't pick up until later in spring.

I'm sure everyone's heard by now, but holy shit is the job market fucked at the moment. I was made redundant almost 3 months ago, have applied for around 100 positions I reckon. I've come very close to the finish line on several occasions and just not been able to stick the landing.
