Mushrooms really do have incredible textures, and Luke's picture collection is the best I've come across. I typically generate batches of 30 with random transforms applied to a seed image, and with mushrooms, selecting just a few to post is a challenge.

Each pixel in this pattern represents the combined contribution of one million pixels from the source pattern. In theory. Scaling it down so I could post it likely increased that a bit.

Get out of my head! :) I find it comforting that, a quadrillion years from now, the sum total of my existence will amount to little more than an imperceptible alteration in the ever-increasing entropy. It gives me the strength to power on.
