Has anyone had a cat or dog with luxating patellas?

Liz had an occasional limp. Our vet confirmed she has luxating patellas (knee cap pops out of place). If it gets worse, we'll need a referral for surgery.

Unfortunately Liz seems to be getting worse fast. She's been limping a lot 😿

I'm still getting fresh veggies from the garden! I was bringing it all in and of course Diesel made a beeline to steal a green bean from my pile. He loves to play with them. Wonder where I'll find it in my house later 😹🫛

Liz wants everyone to know that being brushed is the worst thing ever!!!! She says this is the "Tortured Kitty Department" era and she wants to just get to her "Show Kitty" era 😹

I guess it's a fun game for him?? And yes, he opened it all by himself 🙃

Avery has never really allowed me to brush her, but she needed it so badly.

I took a squeeze up in one hand and a brush in the other. It WORKED!! 😸 She let me continue brushing until the squeeze up was gone and then a little longer even!

Good girl Avery! We'll make a habit of this! ❤️

Dexter helped us car shop yesterday! Anyone want to guess what car we picked??

The "Dexter-mobile" - my wonderful 2011 Ford Escape - has a rusty hole in the frame. We started car shopping while Dexter was at the groomer. When we left to pick him up, the dealership said he was welcome to stop by!

Liz has been loving this reusable shopping bag, so I cut the handles to make it safe for her and officially gave it to her 🤣

I make them myself! I use AI to make cartoon versions of my own photos, then print them and cut them on my Cricut.

Vet trip! Dexter was limping pretty badly on his right hind leg so I took him in to be checked out. No obvious injury and x-rays didn't show anything, so he has pain meds for a week and we're guessing he just pulled something. Poor guy!!

I bought this kitty bed on clearance because I knew Diesel would love it as soon as I saw it!!!

Monday... Yawn. Who's ready for the week??
