We see the anatomy of a trumpet.
A nursery child starts their journey into the world of recorded mathematics in classic style:

I use clay all the time with children and young people. Research shows that manipulating clay is therapeutic and clay is also forgiving. If a child creates something that doesn't align with what they had in mind, they can squish it and start again. #edusky
