This is my good boy, Chiku. He was our first foster failure. We lost our beloved old boy far too soon, and shortly after, we were asked to foster puppies. I don't necessarily believe in reincarnation but he reminds us of my previous dog a lot. And he is precious.

That's what I figured. Everything I looked up checked out, learned about bruise testing, smells, gill colors, etc. Only part of me that struggles is that I don't like wasting anything and if something grows naturally and is edible I want to use it somehow. But, compost is fine.

Thank you! I have lots that come up in the yard. I am always tempted to try them but I know not to. Even with multiple confirmations and like, googl'ing I'd rather avoid any accidental ingestion, hah.

I never really used twitter outside of tracking things a handful of musical and food personalities posted. I think social media is far too easy to manipulate into hate and division.

Guess I'll try this as an outlet cause what else are 30 somethings supposed to do.
