(2/2) ...It feels like I've been the 'keeper' of these stories for so many years, and as I get to the point where I'm almost ready to share them with others, it's incredibly emotional trying to make sure I've done each character justice. I hope one day it's all worth it.

I've spent the past 7 years writing my debut fiction novel. I'm finally in the editing stages, and I won't lie, I'm finding it super rewarding but also SUPER emotionally draining. It's a heavy novel, based on the true story of my family in the early 1900s... (1/2)

2013-2016 was PEAK blogging events era and I honestly miss it so much.

Grief is such a strange thing, one minute you're perfectly fine, the next you remember your grandma's smile and burst into tears out of nowhere. It's been nearly a year and I miss her smile so much 😭

Now, I'm not saying this will continue. We all know I could lose this traffic within a day, but right now I'm not panicking as much as people are telling me to panic? The only thing I've done differently is create *more* content than I used to.

I know there's a lot of SEO chatter about publishers losing traffic to AI...but my traffic has actually grown. I've gone from around 200 clicks per day to 800 clicks per day in the past 12 months, and my Grow by Mediavine payments have gone from $143 per month to over $400.

So, time to buy more stocks then? 👀

Do any other SEO's find that SEMrush *massively* underestimates organic traffic? It estimates my travel blog's monthly traffic at circa 5k views a month, but GA4 says 20k views a month.
