SPG14. Instituições Políticas Subnacionais Coordenador(a) Lucas de Oliveira Gelape (FGV-CEPESP), Amanda Domingos (Universidade de Oxford) Ementa: Este Simpósio de Pesquisa Pós-Graduada tem como objetivo a apresentação e discussão de trabalhos com foco em instituições políticas subnacionais no Brasil e em perspectiva comparada, inclusive baseados em desenhos de pesquisa multinível. Em especial, buscamos dialogar com trabalhos que estejam interessados em identificar os efeitos das instituições em (1) eleições, (2) partidos e (3) na produção legislativa em diversos níveis da federação, ainda que não somente entre essas áreas. O estudo de instituições em nível subnacional é uma agenda tradicional na Ciência Política brasileira, caracterizada pela investigação da aplicabilidade de teorias formuladas em nível nacional, e pela análise de dinâmicas próprias aos planos estaduais/locais. Para além dos problemas teóricos apontados acima, destacamos as oportunidades que esse nível de análise proporciona para a formulação de desenhos de pesquisa, seja em abordagens quantitativas, qualitativas ou multimétodos (Snyder, 2001; Dosek, 2020). Assim, esta área apresenta diversas possibilidades a serem exploradas pela comunidade científica, tanto pelo prisma teórico quanto metodológico.
