unlikely this will ever get printed, but I think keeping track of page-turns and spreads in comics is a good habit to have... now those panels will get a breathing space and my pedantry is tamed... for now.

anyway, the doujin is 31 pages now, instead of 27 lmao. Yes, I ended up splitting 4 pages into 8, because there were two that annoyed me, and both were placed before a spread. Oh well.

"Ghhh this page annoys me, too many panels, I should split it into two, but that would mess up the arrangement of left-right pages and double-page spreads, so I'd need to split two pages into four to keep the order, and that's way too bothersome, no, I should stick with the current storyboard..."

Why do I have so many invisible followers? Few times more than visible ones, actually, kinda ridiculous. Can't find explanation that'd apply to this situation. Are they b/ots, or what?

Today is Iggy's birthday and coincidentally the last day of #AutismAwarenessMonth, so I just wanted to say how much Iggy means to me in helping me figure out so many things about myself that never used to make sense.

(Which also counts for day 26 of #30DaysofOW too lolol)

tldr; imo there's potential for some unhealthy resolutions to relationship conflicts, that could be very, very compelling and refreshing to read about in the content involving this ship, but from what I saw it's generally being slept on...

They both tend to get dragged around by others, or sweep their feelings under a rug, and despite clear desires often lack initiative, even if fully capable of putting their foot down, or even acting with authority. But being overly insecure and considerate inhibits that, unless conditions are right.

3. It's unpopular in the sense that I never saw it being noticed nor openly explored, but both Gonta and Shuichi are so passive - one's like "If you need anything or wanna hang out, just come see me!", the other's like "Yeah! You too! Don't be afraid to ask!" and then neither do shit lmao.

Also Gonta's Love Suite is the only one Shuichi wakes up from thinking "I feel so happy...", and I can't help but puff up about this lmao.

There's just something in the way they respect and look up at each other that's so sweet and tender. They're decently wholesome, caring and sensitive, but not flawless nor flavourless, and can gently push each other towards growth.

Meanwhile Gonta genuinely respects Shuichi's demeanour, personality, intellect, and admires him so much, so much so as to view him as a role-model. It's both good and bad thing, in a good, interesting way.

I like how Shuichi is drawn to high-energy, kind-hearted people, like Kaede or Kaito - and imo Gonta falls under that type, too. Also all three have killed or tried to, with Saihara still finding them deeply sympathetic. That's also interesting theme to explore. And also very curious pattern lmao.

That is, it manages to pull off what certain Gonta ships consistently fail at - portray *any* one of them at their weakest without woobifying, while the guy who ends up in the role of a caretaker still remains vulnerable and flawed person with their own needs, not some idealised, dehumanised prop.

On a more serious note, I really appreciate how they both have equal capacity to be sad, depressed, and slightly unhinged self-loathing messes, while the other is allowed to be low-key frustrated but still patient and loving when taking care of said mess. Most of their content gets it correct.
