Not a good look admittedly but streaming games is way more restricted in JP than here. That's why you always see all those "streaming guidelines" for games that only apply there and usually not overseas.

But of course people are looking at this in the least charitable way possible.

Yeah that is another issue but unrelated to the Game Key Cards with all likelihood.

Considering you can still redownload games you already bought previously on 3DS and Wii U, you would likely still be able to "redownload" any games via a Game Key Card. You already bought the game (the card proves it) so you're just downloading it at that point.

Especially when even games fully on cart these days may need to connect online to get a day 1 update or something. Like... yeah you're downloading the full game and not just updates but the download requirement is still there. If they're not for you that's fine but people be making up situations.

i get the concerns but some folks act like they put games into their systems for the first time in a cabin in the siberian wilderness w/ no net and that's ninty's fault lol
