I wonder how many people got yet another batch of homemade jelly, jam, or preserves from their elder generation? I think it's an unwritten rule that they cant label those jars, and instead just describe in detail what/how they made it and you can totally remember because that one is this shade.

I never have to use the parry system until well after it's introduced, and by then I've forgotten how and it's just easier to not get hit.
