Had a fantastic few days at #BSG25 in my old stomping ground of Leeds. Always fun meeting new people and catching up with friends! I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share some of my PhD work and receive valuable feedback and advice for the final sprint of my PhD.

Thanks to all our speakers for an excellent first session featuring fluvial systems from the lab scale and North Pennines all the way to New Zealand and large scale remote sensing. A great showcase of river networks incl. erosive bedrock systems and widespread aggradation from cyclones. πŸŒŠπŸ’¦ #BSG25

...where we have established a good flow monitoring setup which is collecting useful 'before' data. This will allow us to see the impact that beavers could have on both high and low flows🀞

Presenting my talk "Quantifying the impacts of rewilding on hydrological extremes" at EGU.

Straight from the whirlwind of the European Geosciences Union conference to the tranquility of one of my favourite places and field sites, Ennerdale, allowed me time to reflect on a cracking week in Vienna. It was my first time attending and presenting to a large audience and I enjoyed every minute!

The technicians at Queen Mary have been invaluable during my PhD. From sourcing kit, to assisting in the field and the labs, to providing help and insight I probably wouldn't have received otherwise. It's fair to say I owe a lot to the Geography technicians. Pay them more and provide more support.
