I find it insane how Valve made an extremely successful TF2 gamemode (MVM), released three updates for it and then abandoned it forever in just a little over a year, meanwhile they just kept on updating Mannpower and PASS Time, gamemode nobody played ever.

The map from Fallout 76 is straight up getting an Ohio expansion at the far left edge of the map.

I wonder if the reason the Bethesda Fallout games and expansions all take place close to each other at the other side of the country far away from California and Nevada is solely because their studio is there and they're more familiar with the cities and states surrounding them.

I imagine that Pop OS doesn't have a designated gaming mode like Bazzite and SteamOS

Lossless Scaling works like magic on my Steam Deck meanwhile it's basically useless on my pc either it doesn't work right or it crashes.

That happened to me when I installed steamos on a legion go, most things worked as I'd expect but I seemingly lost control of the fans which led to it overheating and shutting down because it only seemed to only spin at minimum speed at all times.

booting times aren't really a problem ever in general as long as it's an ssd

Seemingly you can use Zorin, but I don't know how good that is for things like gaming, they highlight it on their site but make no mentions of better performance, and there's also Bazzite, but it says that it's Nvidia support is in beta and I don't know how much that could affect me.

If you use something like Bazzite or SteamOS on a pc handheld the difference is massively better compared to if you had Windows instead, but apparently this doesn't translate the same way on something like laptop and I'm seeing overall worse results online.

Anyone knows if there's a Linux distro that could provide better performance than Windows on a laptop with an Nvidia gpu? Apparently using Linux and Nvidia is complicated and inconsistent... thanks Nvidia.
