In other news I also finished Reanimal today and man Tarsier studio really did an amazing job with that game. Genuinely a worthy successor to Little Nightmares 2 and definitely better than LN3 which had a lot of flaws sadly. It is nice to see them compete so tho I'm excited for the future of both

After thinking on it more, the fact RE9's endings are a media literacy test is SO FUCKING FUNNY. Like sure dude you ignored the entire story so far? You stupidly chose the bad ending.

Like the funniest thing nintendo could do next week is also announce it on NSO minus home connectivity or even better announce that the other gen 3 and 1 and 2 are coming to the eshop at a later date. And watch people still find something to complain about

To clarify I think the combat was incredible but not 80 hours of my life incredible

Ironically, this happened when I played metaphor, I know people generally liked it but I couldn't get into it, story was boring to me and combat wasn't good enough to keep me going for 80 hours. After putting in about 30 hours I dropped it and switched over to my first full playthrough of Celeste.

Every time I see Tales of Arise I remember how absurdly bad it is

Like I'm hoping it sticks the landing because it still has a lot of mysteries but it went from this found family summer vacation before a life changing event to "dawg our mutual friend is dying and so we can't hang out anymore" like even for teens i feel it's such a forced response to the situation.

You know Lost Record Bloom & Rage had such an interesting and incredible first half that I was hooked to, now I'm slugging through tape 2 because it's so boring. I'm forever convinced Deck Nine has incredibly talented writers but there's these long moments of narrative slog in a lot of their games

The pain of wanting to play VR Games on stream but not having the mental capacity to actually sit down and do it right now is so annoying. Curse you body for being tired. Oh well, I guess I'll just do some script writing tonight lmao.
