This bill codifies that individuals with disabilities have a right to their assistance animals in response to the federal government's rescission of guidelines. 🐕🐈
No one should ever have to choose between their housing & their service animal.

HB26-1045 restores standards around service animals, as previous guidelines were carelessly and recklessly dismantled by the federal government. 🐶🐱

I am proud to introduce HB26-1012 to prevent bad-acting corporations from price gouging consumers who literally have no other option but to pay for inflated prices.

Doesnt feel real. Faith Winter championing paid family leave gave me hope and got me involved in local politics for the first time. She's made an everlasting impact on me, but an even greater impact for every Coloradan, and she did it all without seeking credit. We have all suffered a great loss.

Colorado needs leadership that puts working people first, holds powerful interests accountable, and builds a State that is affordable for everyone.

I look forward to working with our next Governor, Michael Bennet, to deliver this vision for every Coloradan.

When volunteering at the Food Bank for Larimer County, I saw firsthand that government decisions have real, human consequences.

When Republicans disrupted SNAP benefits, food banks saw an immediate surge: 571 new families needed help in October, up from the typical 150/month.

I decided to run for office because as a daughter of immigrants, a woman of color, and an Iranian-American, our communities were missing a seat at the table.
