The massive structure contained a single teleportation glyph just outside, where the injured may appear.

She turned her head toward the door, though sight had long since left her eyes, & were now hidden underneath the crown of the Ashen Wake.

Within the cathedral, a blind woman stood attending to an altar, her hands moving to replace the ash from one vase to another, never minding her soot-stained fingers. Within the cathedral, she reigned, as a bishop of the Ashen Wake, all that belonged herein belonged to her.

The cathedral stood amidst a plane of wind and ash and an eerie silence. Its grand design withstood the testament of time by removing itself from time, hanging onto the material plane by a powerful and ancient magic.
