The term of service is three years, renewable without limit (pending formal renewal every three years), and formally commences in September 2026. TEA Editor will receive an honorarium of €1000 per annum plus free EAA membership.

TEA editorship is a voluntary role, involving everything from establishing acceptance criteria for materials to be published in the newsletter to production of the electronic file for web-page publication and distribution to EAA membership.

Please note that all Full Individual Members current in 2025 or 2026 can vote; attendance at the 9 January Special Meeting is not a prerequisite to casting your vote.

Decisions are made by a simple majority of votes cast. A decision is adopted if more than 50% of the votes actually cast (“votes received”) are in favour, and only “yes” and “no” votes are counted; abstentions are not counted as votes received and therefore do not affect the majority.

The Special Meeting was convened following a request submitted on 7 October 2025 by 'concernedeaa' who proposed motions A–E, reproduced verbatim for Members' per rollam vote.

A quorum for the per rollam voting shall consist of five per cent of the 2025 and 2026 Full Individual Members.

The chain was crafted from old photocopies of articles, corrections, posters, conference materials, and documents that had accumulated in the institute . The paper was cut into strips and linked together with staples, forming colorful strands reminiscent of traditional Polish Christmas decorations.
