No, migrants in London are not catching or eating swans BUT...since Swan was a highly savoured delicacy at the Tudor court, isn't eating swan...a good old English tradition? ONE SWAN PIE PLEASE, GUV'NOR.

I'm struck by this remarkable line of mothers and daughters, four generations of movers and shakers in a men's world - Katherine Swynford, Joan Beaufort, Cecily Neville and Margaret of York. To say these women left their mark in their worlds would be an understatement. More soon.
